Château d’Ouchy, Lausanne

The Château d'Ouchy in Lausanne was built on the ruins of a medieval tower of the twelfth century. The various buildings forming the current Château d'Ouchy was acquired in 1884 by Jean-Jacques Mercier in order to build a hotel there. Thereafter, various interventions changed the original project. The physical deterioration of the building and facilities necessitated a complete renovation of the Château d'Ouchy.
