Construction of new industrial plant, Sandershäuser Berg
Thanks to an open-minded and future-oriented owner, it was possible to reach a new dimension in ecological timber construction. The result was the largest industrial plant ever built in Germany with a thermally effective envelope built using the timber frame construction method from B2 building materials. All external surfaces - about 25,000 m² of roof area and the over 10-metre-high external wall construction with approximately 5,000 m² - are insulated with isofloc cellulose.
