Modernisation of detached house in Teufen (AR)

The house was built in 1958. The client's desire for a contemporary home for the whole family in an environmentally-sustainable building shell was the inspiration for fundamental remodelling. The facade design is the result of the interior reorganisation. The basement and the ground floor are now linked by an atrium. The kitchen, dining room and living room have been combined into one room. The remodelling was extensive as the walls were originally made of brick with concrete ceilings.
